So I forgot to come in early today. Oh well. Got the weekly blurb stuff done in less than 15mins. Now I have to wait for Arick to get here so we can do the Q&A. However, I think Mitch forgot to leave me the keys to the camera....

Ugh finally done with renaming everything! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY. Now to keep myself busy til I get something else to do.

OMG NOOOOO I HAVE TO DO STUDENT PORTFOLIOS TOO

I'm going to stab myself if I do this any longer today.

Sickness sucks

So I was sick for all last week. I still am a bit sick with some sniffles and giant lugies in the back of my throat. I'm sure being here is going to get a few people sick if they haven't already.

I've been able to catch up on my work with little trouble. Right now I'm renaming all the pictures in the Faculty Portrait folder... taking forever but tedious stuff doesn't bother me as long as there's a good rhythm and I've got some music to jam to. More or less I'm actually waiting for Arick (an interesting spelling of Eric) to be done with whatever he's doing. So far he seems to be concentrating on other work orders.

Ugh not even close to done. Only at K's...

So I erased all of the Fallout event pictures...   ._.;

Stopped at Michael Cohen for the picture renaming, now beginning to do the images for the work order Q&A.

Got those done, gotta remember that they don't need full-rez, just low-rez :O

I've come to finally realize that my days will always start with Mitch gone. Of course, I know where he is. He's  at lunch. I just hope there aren't days like today where I have nothing to do and have to wait til Mitch gives me the ok to go. Why? Because one, I don't like having nothing to do at a work place, and two it makes me feel like I'm talking to myself even more when I spend time writing a blog.

Kari is gone. :(

After I decided to grab my stipend check, I finally found Mitch walking back. He sent me with the sex camera to go take pictures of the LAG outside. Nothing really happened much so I just kept taking pictures of people. Took a few good ones that some people would like to have as their profile pics.

Josh is waiting at a Starbucks for me to come pick him up when I'm done... poor Josh... he has to wait til probably 5 til I can get him.

Waiting for the pictures to finish saving. Derp.

We went up to the Green Screen room to check all the pieces in the cages to make sure everything was there and working. The light cases were very messy but other than that one of the tri-pod stands had its zipper broken and one light was acting like a Maraca with some of its screws.

Next time I'll be working on icons... hopefully this means I get to leave.

I've come here to an empty room. The only thing I've got to do today is the photos for res-life. I don't take those until 2pm. Kari nor Mitch are anywhere to be found. Going to text Kari...

And she was at lunch.

She took us outside to teach us some things about the Canon EOS 5D Mark II. Learned quite a bit more about my own camera (A Powershot G9) because both cameras have simular UI's.

Afterwards she let us go at it by practicing taking pictures of each other. I took a nice one of Mitch, dunno if he kept it though.

Before 2pm I headed out to Founder's Hall to round up all the RA's to take pictures of them. Learned very quickly I suck at making people laugh. Like what am I supposed to do? I'm horrible at jokes apparently. When I came back to edit them, I kept thinking that I only had 5 RAs. Dunno why the hell that kept happening. I counted one last time and finally got six... Maybe I'm starting to get that one disease that I can' think of.

Found out that BRIDGE IS AWESOME.
There's this thing called Camera Raw that you can fix photos with instantly. OMG LOVE IT SO MUCH WILL USE IT MORE NAO.

Well, I'm done. Going to get a parking permit and see my baby kittens :3

First Day!

So I started off by exploring my computer today. Found an interesting video about an old game that I found years and years ago. Quite the nostalgia. It's the only MMORPG where you can play as a dragon.

When Kari showed up after her lunch break, she sent me off to clean the DV things that I have just brainfarted and can't remember the names of. The process wasn't exactly how Kari described it and I improvised with a little help from Paul DeNigris.

When I returned, I watched the video I found for a bit before Kari came back to show me her intro pdf thing that did NOT like to work on this Mac who I've come to "loving" now call Richard. Kari has horrible grammar btw.

She showed me (or tried to show me) some stuff about the Mach 2 camera, but Monica kept talking and talking to us about random stuff. Wasn't sure if Kari was getting tired or it was just me.

Most of the time was spent Kari explaning what else I would need to know with working as an intern. Oh and happy days she already gave me a job!

If you don't already know me, I'm Lissi! I am Kari's new intern and I need photos of all res life staff for the ''meet your RA'' page on the internet. That includes all of you that I've emailed. Yay!

At 2:00pm next Monday(13th) I'll be in the atrium of Founders, ready to photograph you. If you cannot make this time for any reason other than you didn't feel like it, please send me your availability AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. We need to arrange a shoot for you before the 14th.
